Providing The Quality Care Your Pet Deserves |
 |
|
Annual
Examinations and Vaccinations
|
|
| Regular
check-ups will help your pet attain optimal health and excellent
quality of life. In this way, we can potentially catch a disease
or problem before it becomes a serious issue. All pets receive a
comprehensive physical examination before a vaccine is administered.
Any pertinent medical problem or concern can be addressed at this
time. Please refer to vaccinations for
more information. |
|
|
Pets age faster than we humans do - one human year is the equivalent
of 4 to 7 cat or dog years. A lot can change in that period of time.
For that reason, we recommend that a comprehensive physical examination
be performed twice a year for pets over 7 years of age. Please refer
to Caring for Your Older Pet for more
information.

Professional
Hospital Services
|
|
We have in-house diagnostic services available such as routine blood
screening, urinalysis, heart worm testing, fecal parasite analysis
and radiography. We also utilize outside laboratories for a full
complement of testing.
|
Soft
tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery and dentistries are offered.
We utilize the most up-to-date, safe anesthetic protocols tailored
to each individual patient. Pain management is very much a priority.
See Surgery Day for Your Pet to find
out what to expect on surgery day.
House
calls, acupuncture and micro chipping are also available. |
Rabbits
and Pocket Pets
|
|
We have a special interest in rabbits and pocket pets. They are
very engaging and interesting pets and provide a family with a special
bond. These pets often do not show signs of illness until they are
very sick, so we recommend yearly examinations to discuss the special
care and husbandry needs that are important to maintain excellent
health.
